Heart, Hara & Happiness”

The Heart!

I strongly believe the most important aspect of healing begins with our need to be affirmed. You know, our need to be seen and our need to be heard.

It’s all about our intentions and listening is a ritual that I bring in to every session. It is what I call, heart medicine.

Hara & Happiness

Now that you know the Heart of my practice, let me catch you up to speed about the Hara.

The Hara is a Japanese word that literally translates to the soft belly. In Japanese and many Eastern esoteric sciences, the Hara is the emotional and spiritual center. It’s the energetic point spiraling from your abdomen.

It is said that the Hara is where all emotional, physical and spiritual blockages begin. Modern day science has just recently began their exploration into this 2,500 year old wisdom. We now understand that there is more serotonin and dopamine receptors in our gut than in our brain.

In short, our happiness begins in our Hara.

In essence the Hara is who you are!
